Festival: Floating Lantern of Hawaii |
While the floating lantern Festival Hawaii in Honolulu, Ala Moana Beach Park, thousands of small floating lanterns cover the bay deep into the deep ocean, filled with messages of love and memories for loved ones who have lost the locals and anyone who wishes to participate in this beautiful offering.
An estimated 40,000 people, including residents and entertained, announced each year at the festival to honor their loved ones, or request aspirations of future happiness. The Floating Lantern Festival, the Memorial Day began in 1999 at the Laguna Keehi. It takes place there every year for three years before making the transition to Ala Moana Beach Park, to better adapt to the ever-greater crowd.
It is a great event that brings many families and people queuing at the gates of Ala Moana Beach Park waiting to get the first.
They spend their days in the park; cook, play and enjoy the beautiful day. The Celebration begins at dusk with a spectacular performance of Shinnyo Taiko Drums, then followed by several loud groups. One by one, the lamps are placed in the water and are deployed in a beautiful dance by the sea.
